so, everyone, whats your favorite metal band(s)?

mine would probably be the old metallica, megadeth, slayer, i dont have much iron maiden but what i do have i like, and of course, judas priest.

hard to pick a favorite.

lol i reccommend giving the album british steel by judas priest a try, its heavy, but its got that old classic sound, and its really upbeat but its still powerful. british steel just totally fits as a name :3

(this is unofficial music video, so theres about 3 or 4 different singers. all are Rob halford, just in different eres. The one that is him today, is the Bald guy with sunglasses, no hat, and a big black jacket)

No he didnt. he got back together with them after 13 years a few years ago. The new album Nostradamus is with halford.

jugulator didn't have halford in it though, have you guys heard jugulator? it doesn't quite have the priest sound but its pretty badass, it seems to be much less common the only place ive seen it is at a used CD store where i bought it

there were 2 albums and half a tour Halford didnt do. They were done by Ripper Owens (singer from the band King Diamond) because he was one of the only people that could do Halford's scream. The album's were Demolition (have it) and Jugulator (downloaded the title song). He gave them a more Metallica like sound. Rob Halford came back when Ripper decided he couldn't do it, and they brought Halford back (who had made a new band in the time called Halford) who left his band "Halford" and went back to his old and current band "Judas Priest". The other members kicked him out for a REAL stupid reason too

yeah i have the entire jugulator album, its not bad and rippers voice is similar, but its just not the same man. plus it got terrible reviews and the songs just aren't priest. they aren't bad, but they sure as hell aren't priest.......

yeah. they kicked Halford cause they were uncomftorble havig a gay guy i the band that had been there since the late 70's that it only became a problem in the 90's when he told them.

by the way. Would you mind burning me a copy of Nostrodamaus and Jugulator?
